The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had sent me on an errand, then I caught up with him and greeted him with salam. He gestured to me, and when he had finished, he called me over and said, "You greeted me just now while I was praying." At that time he was facing toward the east.
حدثنا يونس بن محمد وحجين قالا حدثنا ليث عن أبي الزبير
كان رسول الله ﷺ بعثني لحاجة ثم أدركته فسلمت عليه فأشار إلي فلما فرغ دعاني فقال إنك سلمت علي آنفا وأنا أصلي وهو موجه حينئذ قبل المشرق
