The Prophet ﷺ was brought a large bowl and ate from it, leaving some food behind. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A man from the people of Paradise will come from this mountain pass and eat this remaining food."Saad said, "I had left my brother Umayr performing ablution, so I said to myself, 'It will be Umayr.'"But it was Abdullah bin Salam who came and ate it.

أن النبي ﷺ أتي بقصعة فأكل منها ففضلت فضلة فقال رسول الله ﷺ يجيء رجل من هذا الفج من أهل الجنة يأكل هذه الفضلة قال سعد وكنت تركت أخي عميرا يتوضأ قال فقلت هو عمير قال فجاء عبد الله بن سلام فأكلها
