The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not wish for death, for the terror of what awaits at the moment of departure is severe. It is part of true happiness that a servant be granted a long life and that Allah grant him the grace of turning back to Him in repentance."
حدثنا أبو عامر وأبو أحمد قالا حدثنا كثير بن زيد حدثني الحارث بن يزيد قال أبو أحمد عن الحارث بن أبي يزيد قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا تمنوا الموت فإن هول المطلع شديد وإن من السعادة أن يطول عمر العبد ويرزقه الله الإنابة
