Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When one of you shrouds his brother, let him make the shroud good if he is able."

حدثنا روح حدثنا زكريا يعني ابن إسحاق قال سمعت أبا الزبير قال سمعت

جابر بن عبد الله يقول

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إذا كفن أحدكم أخاه فليحسن كفنه إن استطاع
