Bashir's wife said, "Give my son your slave as a gift, and have the Messenger of Allah ﷺ act as witness for me."So he went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "The daughter of so-and-so has asked me to give her son my slave as a gift, and she said, 'Have the Messenger of Allah ﷺ act as witness for me.'"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Does he have brothers?"Bashir replied, "Yes."He asked, "Have you given each of them the same as what you gave him?"Bashir said, "No."He said, "Then this is not proper, and I will only bear witness to what is right."

قال امرأة بشير انحل ابني غلامك وأشهد لي رسول الله ﷺ قال فأتى رسول الله ﷺ فقال إن ابنة فلان سألتني أن أنحل ابنها غلامي وقالت وأشهد لي رسول الله ﷺ فقال أله إخوة قال نعم فقال فكلهم أعطيت مثل ما أعطيته قال لا قال فليس يصلح هذا وإني لا أشهد إلا على حق
