A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "Tell me, if I strive with my life and my wealth and am killed while patient, seeking reward, advancing and not retreating, will I enter Paradise?"He replied, "Yes."The man repeated the question two or three times.The Prophet ﷺ said, "Yes, provided you do not die owing a debt that you have no means to repay."
حدثنا أبو النضر أخبرنا شريك عن عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل
أن رجلا أتى النبي ﷺ فقال أرأيت إن جاهدت بنفسي ومالي فقتلت صابرا محتسبا مقبلا غير مدبر أأدخل الجنة قال نعم فأعاد ذلك مرتين أو ثلاثا قال إن لم تمت وعليك دين ليس عندك وفاؤه
