Whenever the Prophet ﷺ delivered a sermon, he would lean against the trunk of a palm tree among the pillars of the mosque. When a pulpit was made for him and he ascended it, the pillar began to tremble, moaning like a she-camel, until the people in the mosque could hear it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came down to it and embraced it, and it became still.Abdul-Razzaq and Rawh said, "That pillar trembled."Rawh said, "He embraced it, and it became still."Abdul-Razzaq said, "And it fell silent."
حدثنا محمد بن بكر أخبرنا ابن جريج أخبرني أبو الزبير أنه سمع
كان النبي ﷺ إذا خطب يستند إلى جذع نخلة من سواري المسجد فلما صنع له المنبر فاستوى عليه اضطربت السارية كحنين الناقة حتى سمعها أهل المسجد فنزل إليها رسول الله ﷺ فالتزمها فسكنت وقال عبد الرزاق وروح اضطربت تلك السارية وقال روح فاعتنقها فسكنت وقال عبد الرزاق فسكتت
