Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say in his sermon, after the testimony of faith, "The best of speech is the Book of Allah , and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad."Yahya said, "I only know that he said, 'And the worst of affairs are those newly invented.'"When he mentioned the Hour, his voice would rise and his anger would intensify, as though he were warning of an approaching army. Then he would say, "I and the Hour have been sent like these two," and he gestured.Yahya demonstrated this with his index and middle fingers.

أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يقول في خطبته بعد التشهد إن أحسن الحديث كتاب الله عز وجل وأحسن الهدي هدي محمد قال يحيى ولا أعلمه إلا قال وشر الأمور محدثاتها وكان إذا ذكر الساعة أعلى بها صوته واشتد غضبه كأنه منذر جيش ثم يقول بعثت أنا والساعة كهاتين وأومأ وصف يحيى بالسبابة والوسطى
