The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a physician to Ubayy bin Kaab, who cut one of his veins and then cauterized it.
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي سفيان
بعث رسول الله ﷺ إلى أبي بن كعب طبيبا فقطع له عرقا ثم كواه عليه
Its isnad is sahih. It is also in Muslim with the same wording and chain, in 4/1730, number 2207, in the chapter on greetings, "Every disease has a cure," and it has also been mentioned before.
