During his pilgrimage, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Which day is most sacred?"They replied, "This day of ours."He asked, "Which month is most sacred?"They replied, "This month of ours."He asked, "Which land is most sacred?"They replied, "This land of ours."He said, "Then your blood and your wealth are sacred to one another, just as this day of yours is sacred, in this month of yours, in this land of yours."
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ في حجته أي يوم أعظم حرمة قالوا يومنا هذا قال فأي شهر أعظم حرمة قالوا شهرنا هذا قال فأي بلد أعظم حرمة قالوا بلدنا هذا قال فإن دماءكم وأموالكم عليكم حرام كحرمة يومكم هذا في شهركم هذا في بلدكم هذا
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Salih is Samman. The hadith was mentioned earlier at 2036, and will come again at greater length in the account of the Prophet's ﷺ sermon at the Farewell Pilgrimage.
