Abdullah bin Amr bin Haram, meaning his father, died, or was martyred, leaving debts behind. I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to intercede with his creditors so they might forgive part of the debt. He requested this from them, but they refused.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said to me, "Go and sort your dates into separate kinds, the Ajwah on its own, the Adhq Zayd on its own, and the other varieties each on its own, then send word to me."I did so, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and sat on top of the pile, or in the middle of it, and said, "Measure out for the people."So I measured out for them until I had paid them in full, and my dates remained as if nothing had been taken from them.

توفي عبد الله بن عمرو بن حرام يعني أباه أو استشهد وعليه دين فاستعنت رسول الله ﷺ على غرمائه أن يضعوا من دينه شيئا فطلب إليهم فأبوا فقال لي رسول الله ﷺ اذهب فصنف تمرك أصنافا العجوة على حدة وعذق زيد على حدة وأصنافه ثم ابعث إلي قال ففعلت فجاء رسول الله ﷺ فجلس على أعلاه أو في وسطه ثم قال كل للقوم قال فكلت للقوم حتى أوفيتهم وبقي تمري كأنه لم ينقص منه شيء
