Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hold on to your property and do not waste it. Whoever grants a lifetime gift, it belongs to the one to whom it was granted, both in life and in death, and to his descendants."

قال رسول الله ﷺ أمسكوا عليكم أموالكم فلا تفسدوها فإنه من أعمر عمرى فهي للذي أعمرها حيا وميتا ولعقبه
