The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling an animal for an animal on deferred payment, two for one, but there is no harm in it when done hand to hand.Abdullah narrated, I said to my father, "I heard Abu Khaythama say that Nasr bin Bab is a liar."He replied, "I seek Allah's forgiveness. A liar? They only criticized him for narrating from Ibrahim al-Saigh, and Ibrahim al-Saigh was from his hometown, so it is not implausible that he heard from him."

It is also found in Tirmidhi from Samura at 3/538, number 1237, where he said, hasan sahih, and in Nasai at 7/292, number 4620, and in Ibn Majah, 2271.[Shakir: 14267] This is a dialogue between Ahmad and his son, and I have only given it an independent number as a note for clarity.
