A man passed through the mosque carrying arrows, and the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Hold them by their tips."The man replied, "Yes."
حدثنا سفيان قال قلت لعمرو أسمعت
مر رجل في المسجد معه سهام فقال له النبي ﷺ أمسك بنصالها فقال نعم
Its isnad is sahih. It is found in Bukhari 1/122, in the book of prayer, chapter on holding the arrowhead when passing through masjids, and in Muslim 4/2018, no. 2614, in the book of righteousness, chapter on ordering one who passes with a weapon in a masjid, and in Ibn Majah 3777, in the book of manners, chapter on one who has arrows with him, and in Bayhaqi 8/23, in the book of criminal offenses, chapter on not pointing with a weapon.
