The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a morsel of food falls from one of you, let him remove whatever harm has come upon it and eat it, and not leave it for the devil."
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان ح وعبد الرزاق قال أخبرنا سفيان عن أبي الزبير
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا سقطت لقمة أحدكم فليمط ما بها من الأذى وليأكلها ولا يدعها للشيطان
Its isnad is sahih, from his route, and the hadith was narrated by Muslim 3/1607 no. 2033 (duplicate) in the Book of Drinks, on the recommendation of licking the fingers, and Abu Dawud 3/364 no. 3845 in the Book of Foods, on a morsel that falls, and Darimi 2/123 similarly.
