I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying on his mount facing east during the expedition of Anmar.
حدثنا وكيع أخبرنا ابن أبي ذئب عن عثمان بن عبد الله بن سراقة
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يصلي على راحلته نحو المشرق في غزوة أنمار
Its isnad is sahih. Uthman bin Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Suraqah, the grandson of Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, was the governor of Makkah and is trustworthy. The hadith previously appeared at 12217.
