The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not walk in a single sandal, do not sit with your knees drawn up wrapped in a single garment, do not eat with your left hand, do not wear the samma garment, and do not place one of your legs on the other when you lie on your back."I asked Abu Zubayr, "Does this mean placing one's foot on the knee while lying on the back?"He replied, "Yes."He said, "As for the samma, it is one of two ways of wearing a garment, where you put one end of your wrap inside and throw the other end over one of your shoulders."I said to Abu Zubayr, "But people say it means sitting with the knees drawn up in a single garment with no covering underneath."He replied, "That is so. I heard Jabir say one should not sit with the knees drawn up in a single garment."Hajjaj reported from Ibn Jurayj that Amr said to him, "With nothing covering the private parts."
حدثنا حجاج وروح عن ابن جريج أخبرني أبو الزبير أنه سمع
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا تمش في نعل واحدة ولا تحتبين في إزار واحد ولا تأكل بشمالك ولا تشتمل الصماء ولا تضع إحدى رجليك على الأخرى إذا استلقيت قلت لأبي الزبير أوضعه رجله على الركبة مستلقيا قال نعم قال أما الصماء فهي إحدى اللبستين تجعل داخلة إزارك وخارجته على إحدى عاتقيك قلت لأبي الزبير فإنهم يقولون لا يحتبي في إزار واحد مفضيا قال كذلك سمعت جابرا يقول لا يحتبي في إزار واحد قال حجاج عن ابن جريج قال عمرو لي مفضيا
