They forbade the exchange of currency, and two men among them traced this ruling back to the Prophet ﷺ.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا سعيد أن محمدا حدث أن ذكوان أبا صالح حدث
أنهم نهوا عن الصرف ورفعه رجلان منهم
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators are imams. Saeed is Ibn Abu Aruba, Muhammad is Ibn Sirin, and Zakwan is Abu Salih Samman. The hadith has already appeared at 10989.
