There was a man from the Ansar who was very large and could not pray with the Prophet ﷺ. He said, "Messenger of Allah, I am unable to pray with you." So he prepared some food and invited the Prophet ﷺ to his home. They spread out a mat for him and sprinkled it with water, and he prayed two rakahs upon it.A man from the family of Jarud asked him, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray the forenoon prayer?"He replied, "I never saw him pray it except on that day."
حدثنا بهز حدثنا شعبة قال أخبرني أنس بن سيرين قال سمعت
كان رجل من الأنصار ضخما لا يستطيع أن يصلي مع النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إني لا أستطيع أن أصلي معك فصنع له طعاما ودعا النبي ﷺ إليه وبسطوا له حصيرا ونضحوه فصلى عليه ركعتين فقال له رجل من آل الجارود أكان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي الضحى قال ما رأيته صلاها إلا يومئذ
