Anas bin Malik reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been made to fear for the sake of Allah 
as no one has been made to fear, and I have been harmed for the sake of Allah as no one has been harmed. Thirty days and nights passed over me during which Bilal and I had no food that any living creature could eat, except for what Bilal could conceal under his armpit."

Sahihحدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد قال أخبرنا ثابت
عن أنس بن مالك
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لقد أخفت في الله عز وجل وما يخاف أحد ولقد أوذيت في الله وما يؤذى أحد ولقد أتت علي ثلاثون من بين يوم وليلة وما لي ولا لبلال طعام يأكله ذو كبد إلا شيء يواريه إبط بلال
Its isnad is sahih, previously mentioned at 12151 and 13989.Affan told us, Hammad told us, Thabit and Ali bin Zayd informed us, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, that when the polytheists closed in on the Prophet ﷺ, while he was with seven of the Ansar and two men from Quraysh, he said, "Who will drive them back from us, and he shall be my companion in Paradise?" A man from the Ansar came forward and fought until he was killed. When they closed in on him again, he said, "Who will drive them back from us, and he shall be my companion in Paradise?" This continued until all seven were killed. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to his two companions, "Our brothers have not been fair to us."Sahih (13989). Its isnad is sahih through the route of Thabit, and hasan through the route of Ali bin Zayd. The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 3/1415, number 1789, in the Book of Jihad, the Battle of Uhud, and by Bayhaqi, 9/44, in the Book of Military Expeditions, on volunteering to expose oneself to being killed.
