The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah does not wrong the believer of any good deed. He is rewarded for it with provision in this world and recompensed for it in the Hereafter."He continued, "As for the disbeliever, he is fed in this world on account of his good deeds, so that when he reaches the Hereafter, he has no good deed left for which he might be granted any good."
حدثنا عفان وبهز قالا حدثنا همام حدثنا قتادة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن الله عز وجل لا يظلم المؤمن حسنة يثاب عليها الرزق في الدنيا ويجزى بها في الآخرة قال وأما الكافر فيطعم بحسناته في الدنيا حتى إذا أفضى إلى الآخرة لم يكن له حسنة يعطى بها خيرا
Its isnad is sahih. The hadith is found in Muslim 4/2162, no. 2808, in the chapter on the description of the hypocrites, on the believer being rewarded for his good deeds, and Baghawi attributed it to him in Sharh al-Sunnah 14/310, no. 4118.
