Shall I not tell you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said, "Some men will pass away and women will remain."
حدثنا حجاج حدثنا شعبة قال سمعت قتادة يحدث
ألا أحدثكم حديثا سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ قال يذهب الرجال ويبقى النساء
Its isnad is sahih. It has previously been mentioned in full, and its wording is found in Muslim 4/2056, no. 2671, in the book of knowledge, on the raising and taking away of knowledge, and in Ibn Majah 2/1343, no. 4045.
