Two men from Yemen came to stay with Talha bin Ubaydullah. One of them was killed fighting alongside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while the other lived on after him for a year before dying in his bed.Talha bin Ubaydullah saw in a dream that the one who had died in his bed entered Paradise well before the one who had been killed. He mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "How long did he remain alive on earth after him?"Talha replied, "A year."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He prayed one thousand eight hundred prayers and fasted Ramadan."

نزل رجلان من أهل اليمن على طلحة بن عبيد الله فقتل أحدهما مع رسول الله ﷺ ثم مكث الآخر بعده سنة ثم مات على فراشه فأري طلحة بن عبيد الله أن الذي مات على فراشه دخل الجنة قبل الآخر بحين فذكر ذلك طلحة لرسول الله ﷺ فقال رسول الله ﷺ كم مكث في الأرض بعده قال حولا فقال رسول الله ﷺ صلى ألفا وثمان مائة صلاة وصام رمضان

Its chain is daif due to a break in transmission, for Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman certainly did not witness the incident. However, hadith (1403) will come narrated from Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman from Talha bin Ubaydullah, and there is discussion about whether Abu Salama actually heard from Talha, which we will detail there. This hadith will also come with the same meaning through a sahih chain (1401).
