The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me, for Satan cannot take my form. The dream of a believer is one of forty-six parts of prophethood."Affan said, I asked Hammad about it, and he narrated it to me, then went off in his agitation.
حدثنا عفان حدثنا عبد العزيز بن المختار حدثنا ثابت
قال رسول الله ﷺ من رآني في المنام فقد رآني فإن الشيطان لا يتمثل بي ورؤيا المؤمن جزء من ستة وأربعين جزءا من النبوة قال عفان فسألت حمادا فحدثني به وذهب في حروره
Its isnad is sahih. It was mentioned previously at 11460. Abdul-Aziz bin Mukhtar is al-Dabbagh al-Basri, and he is trustworthy, his hadith is found in the collections of all six major compilers.
