Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever prays the afternoon prayer and then sits dictating goodness until evening, his deed is greater than freeing eight slaves from the descendants of Ismail."

قال رسول الله ﷺ من صلى العصر فجلس يملي خيرا حتى يمسي كان أفضل من عتق ثمانية من ولد إسماعيل
