The people were struck with alarm, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mounted a slow horse belonging to Abu Talha and rode out alone at a gallop. The people then mounted their horses and galloped after him. He said, "Do not be alarmed. Indeed, I found him to be like the sea." By Allah, that horse was never outrun after that day.

فزع الناس فركب رسول الله ﷺ فرسا لأبي طلحة بطيئا ثم خرج يركض وحده فركب الناس يركضون خلفه فقال لم تراعوا إنه لبحر قال فوالله ما سبق بعد ذلك اليوم
