Rabi, the mother of Haritha bin Suraqa, came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Prophet of Allah, will you not tell me about Haritha?" He had been killed on the day of Badr, struck by a stray arrow. She continued, "If he is in Paradise, I will be patient, but if he is somewhere else, I will weep bitterly for him."He replied, "Umm Haritha, there are many gardens in Paradise, and your son has attained the highest Firdaws."Qatada said, "Firdaws is the highest part of Paradise, its middle, and its best."
حدثنا حسين في تفسير شيبان عن قتادة
أن الربيع أتت النبي ﷺ وهي أم حارثة بن سراقة فقالت يا نبي الله ألا تحدثني عن حارثة وكان قتل يوم بدر أصابه سهم غرب فإن كان في الجنة صبرت وإن كان غير ذلك أجتهد عليه البكاء فقال يا أم حارثة إنها جنان في الجنة وإن ابنك أصاب الفردوس الأعلى قال قتادة والفردوس ربوة الجنة وأوسطها وأفضلها
