Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah created Adam and shaped him, He left him in Paradise for as long as He willed. Iblis began to circle around him, and when he saw that he was hollow inside, he knew that he was a creature who would not be able to control himself."
