The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to fast so often that it would be said, "He has been fasting continuously," and he would refrain from fasting so often that it would be said, "He has stopped fasting." Mura once said, "He stopped fasting, he stopped fasting, he stopped fasting."

أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يصوم حتى يقال قد صام ويفطر حتى يقال قد أفطر وقد قال مرة أفطر أفطر أفطر
