The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who pays it, its two witnesses, the one who records it, the man who marries a divorced woman to make her lawful for her former husband, the former husband for whom this is done, the woman who tattoos and the woman who has herself tattooed, and the one who withholds charity. He also forbade wailing over the dead.

أن رسول الله ﷺ لعن آكل الربا وموكله وشاهديه وكاتبه والمحل والمحلل له والواشمة والمستوشمة ومانع الصدقة ونهى عن النوح
