Anas bin Malik reported,

Abu Musa said, "We asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to provide us with mounts. He swore that he would not give us any, but then he did provide us with mounts."I said, "Messenger of Allah, you swore that you would not give us mounts, yet you have given us mounts."He replied, "By Allah , even if I swear an oath, if I see something better than it, I will do what is better and make expiation for my oath. I will indeed give you mounts."

أنس بن مالك يقول

إن أبا موسى قال استحملنا رسول الله ﷺ فحلف أن لا يحملنا ثم حملنا فقلت يا رسول الله إنك حلفت أن لا تحملنا ثم حملتنا قال وأنا أحلف بالله عز وجل لأحملنكم
