The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the night I was taken on the night journey, I saw some men whose lips were being clipped with shears of fire. I asked, 'Jibreel, who are these?'He answered, 'These are the preachers from your nation who commanded people to do good while forgetting themselves, even as they recited the Book. Will they not understand?'"

قال رسول الله ﷺ رأيت ليلة أسري بي رجالا تقرض شفاههم بمقاريض من نار فقلت يا جبريل من هؤلاء قال هؤلاء خطباء من أمتك يأمرون الناس بالبر وينسون أنفسهم وهم يتلون الكتاب أفلا يعقلون
