A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "What is al-Kawthar?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "It is a river that Allah has given me in Paradise, whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. In it are birds whose necks are like the necks of camels."Umar bin Khattab said, "Messenger of Allah, those birds must be soft and luxurious indeed."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Those who eat them are even more delightful than they are."
حدثنا يعقوب حدثنا أبو أويس قال أخبرني ابن شهاب أن أخاه أخبر أن
أن رجلا سأل رسول الله ﷺ ما الكوثر فقال رسول الله ﷺ هو نهر أعطانيه الله في الجنة أبيض من اللبن وأحلى من العسل فيه طيور أعناقها كأعناق الجزر فقال عمر بن الخطاب إنها لناعمة يا رسول الله قال فقال رسول الله ﷺ آكلوها أنعم منها
