The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood at Arafah and said, "This is the standing place, and all of Arafah is a standing place."Then he had Usama ride behind him, and he proceeded at a swift pace on his she-camel, while the people were striking their camels right and left. He paid no attention to them and kept saying, "Calm, people, calm."He set out when the sun had set and came to Jam (Muzdalifah), where he prayed the two prayers, meaning Maghrib and Isha, then spent the night there. When morning came, he stood at Quzah and said, "This is Quzah, and it is the standing place, and all of Jam is a standing place."Then he proceeded, and when he reached Muhassir, he urged his camel on, and she trotted until she crossed the valley. Then he held her back and had Fadl ride behind him.He continued until he came to the Jamrah and threw pebbles at it. Then he came to the place of sacrifice and said, "This is the place of sacrifice, and all of Mina is a place of sacrifice."Then a young woman from Khathaam came to him and said, "My father is an old man who has grown senile, and Allah's obligation of Hajj has come upon him. Will it suffice if I perform Hajj on his behalf?"He replied, "Yes, perform it on behalf of your father."He turned Fadl's neck away, and Abbas said to him, "Messenger of Allah, why did you turn the neck of your cousin away?"He answered, "I saw a young man and a young woman, and I feared Satan might tempt them."A man came to him and said, "I performed the Ifadah before I shaved."He said, "Then shave or trim your hair, and there is no harm."Then he came to Zamzam and said, "Sons of Abdul-Muttalib, were it not that people would overpower you in providing this water, I would have drawn it myself."

وقف رسول الله ﷺ بعرفة فقال هذا الموقف وعرفة كلها موقف ثم أردف أسامة فجعل يعنق على ناقته والناس يضربون الإبل يمينا وشمالا لا يلتفت إليهم ويقول السكينة أيها الناس ودفع حين غابت الشمس فأتى جمعا فصلى بها الصلاتين يعني المغرب والعشاء ثم بات بها فلما أصبح وقف على قزح فقال هذا قزح وهو الموقف وجمع كلها موقف قال ثم سار فلما أتى محسرا قرعها فخبت حتى جاز الوادي ثم حبسها وأردف الفضل ثم سار حتى أتى الجمرة فرماها ثم أتى المنحر فقال هذا المنحر ومنى كلها منحر ثم أتته امرأة شابة من خثعم فقالت إن أبي شيخ قد أفند وقد أدركته فريضة الله في الحج فهل يجزئ أن أحج عنه قال نعم فأدي عن أبيك قال ولوى عنق الفضل فقال له العباس يا رسول الله ما لك لويت عنق ابن عمك قال رأيت شابا وشابة فخفت الشيطان عليهما قال وأتاه رجل فقال أفضت قبل أن أحلق قال فاحلق أو قصر ولا حرج قال وأتى زمزم فقال يا بني عبد المطلب سقايتكم لولا أن يغلبكم الناس عليها لنزعت
