A rabbit was startled and people chased after it. I was among the first to catch up to it, and I caught it and brought it to Abu Talha. He gave instructions for it, so it was slaughtered and then prepared. Then he took its hindquarters and said, "Take this to the Prophet ﷺ."So I brought it to him and said, "Abu Talha has sent you the hindquarters of this rabbit."He accepted it from me.
حدثنا علي حدثنا عبيد الله بن أبي بكر قال سمعت
ثارت أرنب فتبعها الناس فكنت في أول من سبق إليها فأخذتها فأتيت بها أبا طلحة قال فأمر بها فذبحت ثم سويت قال ثم أخذ عجزها فقال ائت به النبي ﷺ قال فأتيته به قال قلت إن أبا طلحة أرسل إليك بعجز هذه الأرنب قال فقبله مني
