Anas bin Malik reported,

I served the Prophet ﷺ for ten years. He never once commanded me to do something which I delayed in doing, or which I neglected, and then blamed me for it. If any member of his household blamed me, he would say, "Leave him alone. If it had been decreed," or he said, "if it had been destined to happen, it would have happened."
