The Prophet ﷺ said, "A servant in Hellfire will cry out for a thousand years, 'O Most Compassionate, O Most Generous!' Then Allah will say to Jibreel
, 'Go and bring this servant of Mine to Me.'Jibreel will set off and find the people of the Fire fallen on their faces, weeping. He will return to his Lord and inform Him. Allah will say, 'Bring him to Me. He is in such-and-such a place.'So Jibreel will bring him and stand him before his Lord
, who will say to him, 'My servant, how did you find your place and your resting spot?'He will reply, 'My Lord, the worst of places and the worst of resting spots.'Allah will say, 'Return My servant.'The servant will say, 'My Lord, when You brought me out of it, I did not hope that You would send me back into it.'So Allah will say, 'Leave My servant.'"
