Anas bin Malik reported,

I left the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heading toward my family when I passed by some boys who were playing. I was impressed by their play, so I stopped to watch them. While I was standing there with the boys, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came up to me. He greeted the boys with peace, then he sent me on an errand for him.I returned and went out to my family later than the time I usually came back to them. My mother asked me, "What kept you today, my son?"I said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me on an errand for him."She asked, "What errand, my son?"I said, "Mother, it is a secret."She said, "My son, guard the secret of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."Thabit said, I asked, "Abu Hamza, do you still remember that errand today, or do you recall it?"He replied, "Yes, by Allah, I remember it. And had I been telling it to anyone among the people, I would have told it to you, Thabit."

عن أنس بن مالك قال

خرجت من عند رسول الله ﷺ متوجها إلى أهلي فمررت بغلمان يلعبون فأعجبني لعبهم فقمت على الغلمان فانتهى إلي رسول الله ﷺ وأنا قائم على الغلمان فسلم على الغلمان ثم أرسلني رسول الله ﷺ في حاجة له فرجعت فخرجت إلى أهلي بعد الساعة التي كنت أرجع إليهم فيها فقالت لي أمي ما حبسك اليوم يا بني فقلت أرسلني رسول الله ﷺ في حاجة له فقالت أي حاجة يا بني فقلت يا أماه إنها سر فقالت يا بني احفظ على رسول الله ﷺ سره قال ثابت فقلت يا أبا حمزة أتحفظ تلك الحاجة اليوم أو تذكرها قال إي والله وإني لا أذكرها ولو كنت محدثا بها أحدا من الناس لحدثتك بها يا ثابت
