Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Asqalan is one of the two brides. From it, on the Day of Resurrection, seventy thousand will be raised who face no reckoning, and from it fifty thousand martyrs will be raised as delegations to Allah . In it stand the ranks of martyrs, their severed heads in their hands, the veins of their necks gushing blood. They say, 'Our Lord, grant us what You promised us through Your messengers. Indeed, You do not break Your promise.' Then Allah says, 'My servants have spoken the truth. Wash them in the river of al-Baydah.' So they emerge from it pure and white, and they roam through Paradise wherever they wish."

عن أنس بن مالك قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ عسقلان أحد العروسين يبعث منها يوم القيامة سبعون ألفا لا حساب عليهم ويبعث منها خمسون ألفا شهداء وفودا إلى الله عز وجل وبها صفوف الشهداء رءوسهم مقطعة في أيديهم تثج أوداجهم دما يقولون ربنا آتنا ما وعدتنا على رسلك إنك لا تخلف الميعاد فيقول صدق عبيدي اغسلوهم بنهر البيضة فيخرجون منها نقيا بيضا فيسرحون في الجنة حيث شاءوا
