Ubayda said, "I will only narrate to you what I heard from him directly."Muhammad said, Ubayda swore to us three times, and Ali had sworn to him, "Were it not that you might become arrogant, I would inform you of what Allah has promised, through the tongue of Muhammad ﷺ, to those who kill them."I said, "Did you hear this from him yourself?"He replied, "Yes, by the Lord of the Kaabah! Yes, by the Lord of the Kaabah! Yes, by the Lord of the Kaabah! Among them will be a man with a deformed hand," or "a stunted hand," and I think he also said, "or a shrunken hand."
حدثنا ابن أبي عدي عن ابن عون
قال عبيدة لا أحدثك إلا ما سمعت منه قال محمد فحلف لنا عبيدة ثلاث مرار وحلف له علي لولا أن تبطروا لنبأتكم ما وعد الله الذين يقتلونهم عن لسان محمد ﷺ قال قلت آنت سمعته منه قال إي ورب الكعبة إي ورب الكعبة إي ورب الكعبة فيهم رجل مخدج اليد أو مثدون اليد أحسبه قال أو مودن اليد
