The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray Asr while the sun was still white and bright, and a person could then set out for the outlying districts of Awali and arrive there while the sun was still high.
حدثنا حماد بن خالد عن ابن أبي ذئب عن ابن شهاب
كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي العصر والشمس بيضاء حية ثم يذهب الذاهب إلى العوالي فيأتيها والشمس مرتفعة
