Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ invoked curses for thirty mornings against those who killed the people of Bir Maunah. He cursed Ril, Zakwan, Lihyan, and Banu Usayyah, who had disobeyed Allah and His Messenger. Quranic verses were revealed concerning this incident, which we recited, "Convey to our people on our behalf that we have met our Lord, and He is pleased with us and has granted us satisfaction." Later, these verses were abrogated.
