The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted Zubayr bin Awwam and Abdul-Rahman bin Awf permission to wear silk while traveling, due to an itching condition they both suffered from.

Its isnad is sahih. Asbat's hadith here is sahih because he did not err in it, neither in the chain nor in the text, so his narration is corroborated. His hadith is found in Muslim, and the hadith previously appeared at 13181.
