The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you is in his prayer, he should not spit in front of himself or to his right, for he is conversing privately with his Lord. Rather, let him spit to his left or beneath his foot."
حدثنا محمد بن بكر أخبرنا سعيد عن قتادة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا كان أحدكم في صلاته فلا يتفل أمامه ولا عن يمينه فإنه يناجي ربه وليتفل عن يساره أو تحت قدمه
