We entered upon Anas bin Malik along with a group from the people of Medina. He asked, "Have you prayed?" meaning the afternoon prayer.They replied, "Yes."We said, "Tell us, may Allah keep you well, when did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray this prayer?"He answered, "He used to pray it while the sun was still bright and clear."
