The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I entered Paradise and saw a palace of gold. I asked, 'Whose palace is this?' They said, 'It belongs to a young man of Quraysh.' I assumed it was mine, but it turned out to belong to Umar bin Khattab."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "Abu Hafs, nothing kept me from entering it except my knowledge of your jealousy."Umar replied, "Messenger of Allah, whomever I might be jealous of, I would never be jealous of you."
حدثنا بهز حدثنا حماد بن سلمة قال أخبرنا أبو عمران الجوني وحميد
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال دخلت الجنة فرأيت قصرا من ذهب فقلت لمن هذا قالوا لفتى من قريش فظننته لي فإذا هو لعمر بن الخطاب قال فقال رسول الله ﷺ ما منعني يا أبا حفص أن أدخله إلا ما أعرف من غيرتك قال قال يا رسول الله من كنت أغار عليه فإني لم أكن أغار عليك
