We came to visit Anas bin Malik after Dhuhr, and he stood up and prayed Asr. When he had finished his prayer, we mentioned praying early, or he mentioned it himself, and he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'That is the prayer of the hypocrites. That is the prayer of the hypocrites. One of them sits until the sun has turned yellow and is between the two horns of Satan, or upon the horn of Satan, then he gets up and pecks out four rakahs, remembering Allah in them only a little.'"
قال قرأت على عبد الرحمن: مالك
دخلنا على أنس بن مالك بعد الظهر فقام يصلي العصر فلما فرغ من صلاته ذكرنا تعجيل الصلاة أو ذكرها فقال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول تلك صلاة المنافقين تلك صلاة المنافقين يجلس أحدهم حتى إذا اصفرت الشمس وكانت بين قرني الشيطان أو على قرن الشيطان قام فنقر أربعا لا يذكر الله فيها إلا قليلا
