Anas bin Malik reported,

The Prophet ﷺ would come across a date and say, "Were it not that I fear it might be from the charity, I would have eaten it."

عن أنس قال

إن كان النبي ﷺ ليصيب التمرة فيقول لولا أني أخشى أنها من الصدقة لأكلتها
