The Prophet ﷺ had a reed mat sprinkled with water for him, and he prayed upon it.A man asked him, "Did you see him praying the forenoon prayer?"He replied, "I never saw him pray it except on that day."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي حدثنا شعبة عن أنس بن سيرين قال سمعت
إن النبي ﷺ نضح له حصير فصلى عليه قال فقال له رجل رأيته يصلي الضحى قال لم أره إلا ذلك اليوم
