Its isnad is sahih. It has already appeared at 12277, and a major corruption occurred in the printed edition, where it reads, "Waki, from Habib, from Qays, from Thabit," and it seems the error was unclear in the manuscript, so they wrote it that way. But what supports what we have established is that Ibn Sunni, in Amal al-Yawm wal-Layla 85, number 227 (the critically edited version), said, "Habib bin Hajar Qaysi, from Thabit, from Anas." And Abu Naeem said in Hilyah 8/378, "from Habib, from Thabit, from Anas," and said, "Habib is the son of Hajar." Ibn Hajar related it from both of them in Fath al-Bari 11/33 through another route.
